Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK)
Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK), or the Department of Skills Development (DSD), operates under Malaysia’s Ministry of Human Resources to
coordinate and regulate skills training for Malaysian citizens.
Objectives
- Continuously evaluate and forecast current and future skills needed for skilled and semi-skilled workers.
- Assess the implementation of vocational training programs to ensure alignment with training priorities and recommend necessary adjustments.
- Advise the government on the development and enhancement of vocational training programs to meet national priorities.

The DSD administers the Malaysian Skills Certification (SKM).

Recognition of Prior Achievement (PPT)
Skill Bridge Academy (M) Sdn Bhd is a registered JPK PPA-PPT Centre, recognized for offering certification through the Recognition of Prior Achievement (PPT) method approved by the Department of Skills Development (Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran, JPK), aligning with the National Occupational Skill Standard (NOSS).
Purpose of PPT
The purpose of PPT is to grant recognition to individuals for skills acquired through work experience and formal or informal training by awarding Malaysian Skills Certificates (SKM), Skills Diplomas (DKM), or Advanced Skills Diplomas (DLKM).
Which Fields Can Be Certified Through PPT?
All fields listed in the National Occupational Skill Standard (NOSS) can be certified through PPT, withthe exception of specific excluded fields such as:

Who Can Apply?
Open to individuals with relevant skills and who meet the required work experience period in the related field.
